A Lush Life Manual
Background & Format: Launched in October 2017, A Lush Life Manual is a personal blog about how to "live life one cocktail at a time." The blog provides a mixture of content about cocktail bars with Susan blogging about news about topics. Many posts are descriptions of sessions of bars which are written in a reporting style with Susan describing the cocktails in offer and may include photographs. Others consist of her reviews of recently opened bars, easy medium and hard recipes suggestions for readers to make their own cocktails and accounts of her visits to cities abroad like Paris and Ghent. She also has a book of cocktail products including books, mixers and barware. There is also a podcast which broadcasts interviews with bartenders, brand ambassadors and distillers. The Blogger: A Lush Life Manual is written by Susan L Schwartz who also writes the Best Bits Worldwide blog and is a graduate of the Wine and Spirit Education Trust. "A Lush Life Manual is the place to discover why an old-fashioned is the drink of choice, who is making their own bitters and how ice, or lack there of, is transforming the cocktails you drink – all this from the modern day alchemists behind the bars around the world." PR Opportunities: PR opportunities include collaboration with brands, destinations and tour operators. Susan says: " I choose everything on the site and it is never influenced by anyone for any reason." She can best be reached by email at susan@alushlifemanual.com
