The BrainCandy Podcast is candy for your left brain and your right brain. MTV's Sarah Rice and Susie Meister discuss the most interesting science, books, movies, and pop culture news with their characteristic wit and irreverence. A podcast is a downloadable video or audio broadcast show. Most podcasts are available by subscription through an RSS reader or other aggregator. The fundamentals of working with podcasters are the same as with traditional journalists at traditional media outlets: respect their schedules; take time to watch or listen to their material to learn their interests; and only contact them if/when they want to be contacted.

BBrain Matters - WVUA-FM
Brain Matters is a weekly one hour live radio show, aired on WVUA 90.7 The Capstone, on Tuesdays from 6–7 p.m. during University of Alabama's fall and spring terms. The show is hosted by Dr. B.J. Guenther, a staff therapist at the UA Counseling Center, and features guests who discuss mental health issues and issues pertaining to the college student population. Some topics discussed are depression, relationships, academic and study skills, finances and anxiety. Episodes are saved to be listened to in podcast form.
