BBritish Journal of Psychotherapy (BJP)
Background and Format: The British Journal of Psychotherapy is a journal for psychoanalytic and Jungian-analytic thinkers, with a focus on both innovatory and everyday work on the unconscious in individual, group and institutional practice. As an analytic journal, it has an Editorial Board drawn from a wide range of psychoanalytic, psychoanalytic psychotherapy, psychodynamic, and analytical psychology training organisations. As such, it is designed to provide a psychoanalytic frame of reference that is wide-ranging and includes all schools of analytic practise. The primary focus is on the unconscious and on transference/counter transference processes, but the BJP has traditionally sought to make links and critical comparisons with other therapeutic methods. They encourage high-quality work-in-progress reports, submissions from clinicians at an early stage of their careers, and international submissions. The British Journal of Psychotherapy (BJP) is published in association with The British Association of Psychotherapists (BAP). Background and Format: British Journal of School Nursing covers all things to do with health care in school-aged children. There is a 'Week in a Life' article about a school nurse, and a 'Spotlight on' feature about specific practice taking place in certain areas. Regularly includes clinical reviews, original research, professional articles, education, case studies, legal commentary and news analysis. BJSN believes that school nurses play an essential role in the health and well-being of school-aged children and young people. The journal aims to support all school nurses (including those working for or on behalf of local authorities, directly in schools and special needs school nurses) in their daily practice by ensuring that they have access to the latest information, policy and research. BJSN also provides a platform for school nurses to share innovations and examples of best practice with colleagues and to consolidate the evidence base for the profession. Affiliations: The British Journal of Sports Medicine (BJSM) is co-owned by the British Association of Sport and Exercise Medicine (BASEM) and BMJ Group. It is the official journal of the European College of Sports and Exercise Physicians (ECOSEP) and an official journal of the Australasian College of Sports Physicians. Aims of the journal: Launched in 1966, BJSM is an online and print journal which provides original research, reviews and debate relating to clinically-relevant aspects of sport and exercise. A wide range of topics are covered including the prevention and management of sports injury, exercise physiology, sports psychology, physiotherapy and the epidemiology of exercise and health.
