Deadline: Stories should be sent a the week before the issue is released. There is a Wednesday morning main conference at 10.30-11, so PRs should get their stories to the team before then. The Editor has a briefing every Monday morning. Time of Publication: Wednesday. Other information: If a story is about research and is exclusive, it is more likely to appear. All stories printed are also available on the website. Email contact is preferred. PRs have a better chance of getting their stories into the section if they make press releases quirky, interesting and fun. They need to pinpoint the main focus of the story and why it will work for Daily Mail readers. The team are happy to meet PRs on a Wednesday or Thursday for coffee or lunch but there has to be a a good reason for meeting. However, it doesn't mean topics discussed have to be "on the record."
