Flick Filosopher is an entertainment blog that is based in London that has a global audience, although primarily North America, the UK, and Australia. Flick Filosopher is a film blog. It was founded by Film Critic and Pop Culture Commentator MaryAnn Johanson. She first started the site in 1997 and is originally from New York City. She has written for several North American national newspapers ranging from Salt Lake City Weekly to Cincinnati City Beat. MaryAnn has also written for Yahoo! Internet Life, My AOL, Film4 and has penned a book. Blog headings include In Cinemas, DVD/VOD, Trailers, Doctor Who and Female Gazing. Posts range from upcoming films, DVD reviews, cinema releases and features about films. Regular features include Female Gazing and Photo of the Day.
