FFloral Fantasies
Launched in March 2009, Floral Fantasies is a blog that follows the arts and crafts of Brenda. She explains that when she looks back she realised that she had been crafting all her life in one form or another and as a child spent many hours sticking bits of card and paper together with flour and water. Like so many crafters she did cross stitch and when her children were small had fun creating ‘Blue Peter’ inspired makes with them. Brenda's card making addiction started many, many years ago and from the start she was drawn to rubber stamping, the obsession grew as she discovered new techniques such as brayering, inking and masking and she has a particular love of silhouette stamps and distress inks. She also has a fascination with skies and creating scenes, there are not many which don't feature a moon or sun. The blog posts are written by Brenda, happily married with a large family of children and grandchildren and a good few animals in tow as well including horses and dogs. She was forced to give up full time work soon after she was diagnosed with MS around twenty years ago. Entries in the Floral Fantasies blog concentrate on various categories such as Tutorials, Published Work, Family Friends, My Craft Room, About Me and Design Teams. PR opportunities include news, reviews and interviews related to arts and crafts. Brenda can best be reached via email.
