From cleaning up boatloads of trash in the Port of Houston, to installing a solar-powered heritage in West Virginia, to planting a tree in Tennessee after every loving burial, these Americans are building a more sustainable future, building community, building resilience, building hope. HOPE not hate - HOPE not hate blogs
HOPE not hate blogs sit on the eponymous site. HOPE not hate is the UK’s largest anti-extremism campaign. “It challenges organised hatred and extremism, producing original exposés and reports into far-right as well as Islamist groups in the United Kingdom, as well as campaigning on a variety of issues at national and grassroots level (such as voter registration drives, campaigns to promote cross community resilience, and research into British identity ‘tribes’). It also has a team dedicated to developing and strengthening inter-community relations across the UK. The blog posts are written by Nick Lowles, Matthew Collins, Elisabeth Pop, Graeme Atkinson and others. There are four blogs that feature on the HOPE not hate site; Nick Lowles' blog is from the HOPE not hate co-ordinator (www.hopenothate.org.uk/blog/nick/), The Insider's blog gets under the skin of the far-right (www.hopenothate.org.uk/blog/insider/), The Community Action blog contains news related to local community initiatives (www.hopenothate.org.uk/blog/community-action/) and Purple Rain puts the UK Independence Party (UKIP) under the magnifying glass (www.hopenothate.org.uk/ukip/).
