Their mission is to provide healthcare professionals with guidance on technology system selection, integration, project management, and change management. HITO covers all technology solutions that impact the productivity, efficiency, patient care, and cash flow of a healthcare facility — from electronic health record software (EHR), healthcare information exchange (HIE), healthcare information management Software (HIM), healthcare document management, healthcare business intelligence software, healthcare revenue cycle management software, point of care (POC) EMR (electronic medical record) and HIM (health information management) software to point-of-care solutions and medical imaging systems. Health IT Outcomes (HITO) DOES accept bylined articles/submissions in the form of guest columns, feature articles, white papers, case studies and more. Articles are accepted via e-mail. Contributors are encouraged to contact the editor before submitting editorial, though this is not a requirement. An outline, abstract, or brief description of the article should be included with the e-mail. A brief biography of the author is also recommended. News releases should be at least 200 words in length. Articles should be at least 600 words, but may be much longer, depending on the type of article.
