The Half Size Me™ Show is a weekly podcast about weight loss and getting healthy in a sustainable and maintainable way. A podcast is a downloadable video or audio broadcast show. Most podcasts are available by subscription through an RSS reader or other aggregator. The fundamentals of working with podcasters are the same as with traditional journalists at traditional media outlets: respect their schedules; take time to watch or listen to their material to learn their interests, format of content; and only contact them if relevant.

Halfway Hike
Launched April 2011, Halfway Hike is a hiking blog.Author Mark Kelly began hiking and taking longer walks as a way of getting fit. Mark's love for the outdoors started as a boy with his two dogs, out on the nearby Ridgeway Long Distance Path, the Chiltern forest and along the grand union canal. Based in the Marsden and Saddleworth moors area of northern England Mark thought he'd make the most of the hills he's been surrounded by for the last 25 years.Entries posted to the blog are divided into the following categories: Challenge walks, events, hikes and kit tests. There are also further categories dedicated to specific areas: Marsden hikes, Marsden moor, Peak district, Pennine way, the Ridgeway, Scotland and Wales. Previous posts include: 'Greenfield to Marsden via Laddow Rocks - A Halloween hike', 'A hike above Ennerdale and on to Black Sail hostel' and 'Offa's Dyke challenge walk for the Red Cross'. From late May, The Scarborough Evening News, Halifax Courier, Northampton Chronicle & Echo, Peterborough Evening Telegraph and Northants Evening Telegraph will publish seven-day online content with one print edition coming out each week. Changes will also be made to the websites, including improvements to the home pages and the social networking and commenting functionalities. Johnston Press is planning to re-launch all of its 170 paid-for titles and associated websites by the end of 2012. Further details will be revealed on 25 April and will coincide with Johnston Press’ 2011 annual results announcement. The Halifax Evening Courier printed its last broadsheet issue on Friday, and publishes its first compact look today.
