Background and Format: Relaunched as Impact magazine in April 2013. It explores how insights and evidence are used to shape business and policy. Impact is published by the Market Research Society (MRS). Formerly Research , a monthly magazine for the international market research industry, with news coverage, and analysis for research buyers and providers. The publication is supported by and can also be found via the www.research-live.com website, but it contains largely unique content that is not published online. It is aimed at senior decision makers in any organisation - suppliers, buyers and users of data, evidence and market and social research. The editorial deadlines vary, but the magazine goes to press around 21st / 22nd of the month before publication. It is published in April, July, October, January. The magazine DOES accept byline articles, however they prefer to receive a synopsis first. These usually end up online rather than in the magazine.
