Physical publication of this title has been suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Background and Format: The Mid Sussex Argus, previously known as the Mid Sussex Leader, is a free sheet in the Mid Sussex area. The Brighton Argus staff all contribute to this paper. Gorkana UK Financial Alert: Thursday 16th February 2017 The following changes have taken place to the three free weekly publications under the Newsquest Media Group: The Mid Sussex Leader has now ceased and been replaced by the Mid Sussex Argus. The new publication will have the same editorial staff as the parent title The Argus (Brighton) and all other details of the title will remain the same as the previous. In addition to this relaunch, the South Coast Leader has also relaunched as the Lewes and South Coast Argus. Again the staff and details will remain the same. The third weekly paper, the Brighton & Hove Leader has now ceased publication. The move of these changes is a part of a strategy to bring the Leader branding in line with the parent title The Argus (Brighton).
