Background and Format: MOT Testing Magazine started life in May 1994 as 'MOT Tester & Authorised Examiner' magazine, by Jim Punter, MOT Testing Station owner and Authorised Examiner and advertising and marketing businessman Martin Shippey. The magazine contains news, reviews, information and comment. Content discussed includes regulations, legislation, discipline, procedures, training, equipment servicing and calibration quality. Trade Association news updates are also covered, and European and international Testing matters are reported on and discussed. Articles are contributed by MOT consultants, many of whom are ex-VOSA personnel. Now it is not published in a form of printed magazine, but all the updates are available on their website.
