NNutrition Research
Written for nutrition scientists, dietitians, physicians, biochemists and epidemiologists and covers basic and applied research on all aspects of the nutritional sciences. Features nutritional biochemistry and metabolism; nutrient requirements in health and disease; digestion and absorption of foods; nutritional anthropology and epidemiology; the influence of socioeconomic, cultural and political factors on nutrition of the individual and the community; the impact of nutrient intake on disease response, work performance and behavior; the consequences of nutritional deficiency on growth and development, endocrines, nervous system and immunity; food intolerance and allergy; nutrient drug interactions; nutrition and aging; nutrition and cancer; obesity; intervention programs. Manuscripts on nutrition research in both humans and animals will be considered for publication. Issues of the Journal can contain research articles, clinical studies, communications, reviews of topical subjects, editorial commentaries, letters to the editor, and book reviews.

Established in 1942 and contains articles by distinguished international scientists and interpretive summaries of important clinical and experimental research in nutrition, biochemistry, food science and public health. Delivers timely and authoritative reviews of significant research and investigation, as well as in-depth discussion of recent international nutrition and science policy advancements. Contributors survey hundreds of international biomedical, nutrition, policy and food science publications for emerging issues of topical importance. The following article types are welcomed as submissions: Lead Articles: Comprehensive reviews of a broad topic. Special Articles: Comprehensive reviews focused on a niche topic, a specific aspect of a broad topic, or new methods in nutrition science. Nutrition in Clinical Care: Presentations of a case study accompanied by a brief literature review. Emerging Science: Discussions of a current study in nutrition research presented in the context of the larger body of research on that topic. Nutrition Science - Policy: Reviews of the interaction between scientific research and national and international health and nutrition policy. Letters to the Editor: Additions to the discourse regarding certain topics covered in recent issues of the journal. Reflections: Tributes to the major contributions and achievements of specific nutrition scientists. Editorial Submission: Editorial submission via email. Manuscripts and tables should be in Word format in one file. Receipt is always confirmed by the editorial office.
