PPC Pilot
Background and Format: Founded in 1999, PC Pilot was acquired by Key Publishing in 2005. PC Pilot brings sense and expert opinion to the exciting and often daunting world of flight simulation. Contributors include many real-world pilots and aviation professionals. The magazine covers news, advice, reviews, features and views on all aspects of flight simulation. PC Pilot’s readers are predominantly male, aged between 26 and 55, married with an above average disposable income. They spend a large amount of money each year on PC hardware, component upgrades and software in order to ensure they achieve the maximum realism from the equipment they use. This includes control units, monitors, memory, CPUs, graphics cards and peripherals and accessories such as yokes, pedals and joysticks, avionics and virtual radar.
