Aims of the journal: British Journal of Cancer (BJC) was founded more than sixty years ago and aims to provide a forum for prompt communication of original and innovative research findings that have relevance to understanding the etiology of cancer and to improving the treatment and survival of patients. BJC works with a distinguished team of international experts to ensure the highest standards of selection and review. The British Journal of Cancer (BJC) is a multidisciplinary Journal of Cancer Research. It aims to publish significant original papers and reviews that: Increase understanding of the causes of cancer Inform timely detection and accurate diagnosis Investigate molecular pathways relevant to cancer therapy Contribute to the discovery of novel therapies Help develop personalised therapy Drive improvements in the treatment and survival of patients Readership: Those in biological disciplines, chemistry, pharmaceutical and physical sciences. Content: Full research papers and short communications are published under five broad headings: Clinical studies Translational therapeutics Molecular diagnostics Genetics and genomics Epidemiology BJC regularly invites minor eviews on topics of current interest from international authorities. Some longer reviews, and book reviews are published, usually by editor's invitation.
