About

Bio

Fabian Review is a blog from the Fabian Society, a society involved in the “development of political ideas and public policy on the left of the centre”. The Fabioan Society was founded in 1884. The Society is at the forefront of developing political ideas and public policy on the left. Blogger Andrew Harrop is the General Secretary of the Fabian Society. He has been in the role since June 2011, following the departure of Sunder Katwala. Blog posts are the views of the Fabian Society and are comment-led and cover left-wing politics and current affairs. Topics tend to include Economy, Education, Environment, Europe and The World, Government, Health, Housing, Life Chances, Politics and Welfare. Posts are updated intermittently, sometimes several times a month, to once every two months, and tend to be about the 500-word mark. The posts usually have no images. PR opportunities are not obvious, however, there may be some such as guest posts, so it is best to familiarise yourself with the content of the blog before approaching. The Fabian Review can be reached by email.
