Background and Format: Previously known as The Evening Telegraph, the Coventry Telegraph is a daily newspaper, founded in 1891, serving Coventry, Warwickshire and Nuneaton. The paper was switched to a morning publication in August 2006 and renamed as the Coventry Telegraph. Now part of Trinity Mirror's Midlands portfolio, the team also produces the content featured in the Coventry Times. The Coventry Telegraph also publishes a Nuneaton and Warwickshire edition of the paper. In August 2016,  the team updated the newspaper with a fresh, modern look, along with new content. The new look is designed to be more visually appealing and modern, while retaining all the news and views expected from the paper. From October 2, the paper will be renamed the Coventry Telegraph and will be printed in the early hours of the morning. The paper will continue to publish local editions in Coventry and Warwickshire, becoming the Coventry Telegraph, Nuneaton Telegraph and Warwickshire Telegraph.
