About
Bio
Grey Fox is a fashion blog based in the UK that is predominantly aimed at a UK audience.
The blog takes inspiration from US Blog The Sartorialist, set up by Scott Schuman in 2005. Grey Fox was founded in December 2011 by solicitor-turned-teacher David Evans. He says, "As an older man, by which I mean over forty, it becomes increasingly difficult to decide what to wear and how to dress. This fashion and style blog is my response. I have no background in fashion. I practised law and then taught. I have no idea why I'm doing this, but I enjoy writing and exploring the new world this blog has opened up." the blog has over 40,000 unique visitors, in an interview David said he started the blog as a way of documenting his own image crisis and to develop an online community for older men who want to remain fashionable. Grey Fox can also be found on Instagram here.
The blog is an honest account of David's fashion experience and says that fashion is mainly advertised at men under forty, which is one of the reasons he founded Grey Fox. The blog has been featured in many popular publications, has worked alongside several well known brands and has been awarded on several occasions, see here for a full list. Grey Fox often takes on sponsored posts, but always states clearly if he is writing a sponsored post or review.
PR opportunities mainly exist in the form of fashion news, reviews, sponsored posts and David has previously accepted gust posts. The best way to get in contact with David is via the email address provided. Alternatively, David is also available on Twitter, where he is very active and responsive to tweets.
