    Background and Format: BBC Asian Network aims to provide the latest music for the Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan diaspora in UK, available on DAB :12B, Freeview: 709, Freesat: 709, Sky (UK only): 0119 and Virgin Media: 912.   The station is targeted towards people of South Asian descent (Indians, Pakistanis, Bangladeshis, Sri Lankans) and those with an interest in South Asian affairs. The audience is predominantly made up of listeners aged 35 and under. The BBC cannot accept traditional product press releases because the BBC cannot endorse products. The following editorial changes have been announced: Comedians and actors Mawaan Rizwan and Emily Lloyd-Saini will open the week with a new show on Monday nights (9pm-midnight). Harpz Kaur will now have an extended role on Breakfast across the weekend (Saturdays and Sundays, 6-10am). Harpz joined the station from a community radio station in Leeds last year. She can be reached at harpz@bbc.co.uk Guz Khan takes on a new weeknight slot (Tuesdays, 9pm-midnight) bringing a more after-hours flavour to his show with his own brand of ‘comedy and grime’.
