Background and Format: The Leeds and Yorkshire Lawyer is a bi monthly magazine that looks at the legal lifestyle in Yorkshire covering subjects both in and outside of work. Background and Format: Launched in 1985, Counsel is the monthly Journal of the Bar of England and Wales. Counsel also contains the Bar Council's publication Bar News. This is provided as a pull-out inner section and contains news from the Bar Council, guidance and advice for members of the Bar and notices of forthcoming events.
