New consumer media and publishing company Immediate Media Co launches today. The new company incorporates Origin Publishing, Magicalia and six titles purchased from BBC Worldwide: Radio Times, olive, Homes & Antiques, Gardens Illustrated, Girl Talk and All About Animals. Additionally, Immediate Media will operate long-term licences for 23 BBC Worldwide titles, including BBC Gardeners’ World and is contracted to publish other BBC titles, including BBC Top Gear Magazine.
Staff currently at BBC Magazines, Origin and Magicalia have now become part of the new company and existing editorial contacts have not changed.

BBC Homes & Antiques has recently re-launched with more homes, more antiques, more from the Antiques Roadshow and a fresh, contemporary design. Judith Miller, the doyenne of antiques, joins Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen as a Celebrity Contributor, with a new monthly column tracing the evolution of a widely available antique. Readers will also find an extra real home every month, as well as an exciting new antiques quiz and restoration projects to try at home, alongside all the usual great value ticket offers on antiques fairs around the country.
