Imperfect Matter is a blog featuring topics from health and fitness to fashion or dance. Sections on the blog include Reviews, My Fitness Life, News, Travel, as well as Recipes. Previous posts on the site include July Fitness Fashion Blog, Healthy Flapjack Recipe, Sun, Sea & Sweat with 38 Degrees North, International Yoga Day, as well as Imperfect Matter x adidas AW15 Campaign. The blog is written in diary format with posts varying in length and often containing images. The blog was created by Cat Meffan stating: "The original idea for this blog was to be a diary of my health and fitness challenge - to get the lean body I have always wanted as well as getting back into my old dancing life. I’ve tried every diet in the book, but now need something that is more sustainable, if I’m to get fit and slim. You’ll also find things on here about fashion, jewellery, dance and probably music, as I’m not one for being too specific. I want to write about all of the things I enjoy, so apologies in advance for random pictures of tigers and penguins!" PR opportunities on the site include reviews. Cat can be reached via email. Good Housekeeping

Good Housekeeping is published by Hearst and written for the contemporary homemaker. Articles focus on food, nutrition, fashion, beauty, relationships, home decorating, health, child care, and other consumer and social issues. Each issue delivers a unique mix of inspirational and personal stories, trusted information, and closely researched investigations and reports. Also there are tips for getting organized, and recipes for quick, healthy meals. While they don't designate a part of the magazine for green coverage they do take environmental considerations into account throughout each issue, so pitch accordingly. When sending green products be sure that they save readers time and money. Pitch recycling topics and remember that value and quality are most important to readers. Avoid sending too many luxury items as they rarely, if ever, cover luxury goods or services. When pitching products always be mindful of the staffs' deadlines. They typically work three to four months in advance. Be sure to include price, availability and other pertinent shopping details.
