Independent School Parent (formerly First Eleven) magazine is the magazine for parents of children in independent education from nursery school to university. Each edition contains features about academic and pastoral issues, written by leading head teachers and academics, supported by columns on finance, health, property, travel and lifestyle. The magazine and website are updated every term, providing an interactive forum that connects parents, schools, pupils and education experts to one another. The magazines target audience are the parents of the 625,000 children who attend the UK’s 2,600 independent schools. (Source: Publication). Over 30,000 copies of each edition of Independent School Parent is distributed directly to parents by leading independent schools. Partner schools are supplied with copies free of charge on request.
