It's a LDN Thing is a fashion blog based in London and predominantly aimed at a UK audience; although some of the content is relevant to audiences elsewhere too. The blog was founded in January 2011 and is mainly focused on fashion, style, music, beauty and art. Millie Cotton is the owner of the blog; she says, "I write about all things fashion, lifestyle, beauty and music that I recommend and appreciate. There's also some of my own style thrown in too." The blog is part of the Vice blogging network and is also part the Handpicked Media community. It's a LDN Thing was nominated by Cosmopolitan in their Blog Awards in the Best New Fashion Blogger category in 2012; and it picked up the Highly Commended Award in the aforementioned category. The blog categories are Beauty, Events, Fashion, I Wear clothes, LFW, Music and Must Haves. Blog posts are largely focused around what Millie is wearing and where she got the items from. All posts are accompanied by high quality images that Millie sources herself. Blog posts follow a regular pattern of posting outfits and descriptions of the items of clothing and locations of the photoshoots. The blog is updated very regularly and on average it is updated on a daily basis. PR opportunities mainly exist in the form of product news and product reviews. The best way to contact the blog is via the email address milliecotton@gmail.com; or alternatively Millie is also available across various social media platforms including Facebook and Twitter. <w:LsdException
