Background and Format: Janomot was the first Bengali newsweekly, founded in London in 1969. Audience and Readership: Janomot continues to reflect the views and aspirations of the Bangladeshi people living in the UK, as well as those living in other parts of the world. It is a forum for the community leaders and politicians to debate issues affecting the Bangladeshi people. Circulation: The Publisher does not disclose the figure. Supplements: Regular features include: home and international news, politics, business and finance, health issues, children and education, sports, fashion, entertainment, art and culture and women's issues. Other information: Outside the UK, subscribers are in Germany, France, Spain, Austria, Australia, USA, Canada, Africa and the Middle East and indeed in Bangladesh.

The following editorial changes have been announced: Comedians and actors Mawaan Rizwan and Emily Lloyd-Saini will open the week with a new show on Monday nights (9pm-midnight). Harpz Kaur will now have an extended role on Breakfast across the weekend (Saturdays and Sundays, 6-10am). Harpz joined the station from a community radio station in Leeds last year.
