It aims to contain the best in contemporary poetry, housing established poets alongside new or little-known names, valuing experimentation, ambition, and craft. The publication features a different theme and different editors for each issue, with the editorship circulating among the group running the magazine, alongside frequent guest editors. Alongside poetry there are reviews of current publications and thought-provoking prose.
