The redesign includes new typefaces and clearer signposting with a modular layout which makes better use of pictures. An editorial leader column has been introduced as well as an expanded page of readers’ letters. The newspaper’s sister paper, the Evesham Journal, was also relaunched in April. One team of staff now overlooks all three titles. John Murphy, Editor of the Evesham Journal, is no longer at the newspaper. Suzanne Black, previously News Editor at the Malvern Gazette, is still at Newsquest but no longer working in an editorial role.
