Mama Geek is a parenting blog written and maintained by Zoe Corkhill.
She says: "Welcome to Mama Geek, the tale of a late 20s geek as I stumble through the weird and wonderful world of motherhood! I have two little girls called Georgie and Lydia, a fab husband called James and an adorable dog called Homily... In my previous life B.G. (Before Georgie), I worked as an administrator for a billboard company, while also doing some self employed web design work part time. Nowadays I’m a 'working stay at home Mum', juggling my web design business, this blog and motherhood, and loving every minute! I like: apple products, photography, reading, jigsaws, crafting, watching films and TV, puppies, chocolate, gaming and puzzles."
Sections on the site include Breastfeeding Info, Reviews (in which review-related posts are archived), Giveaways (in which giveaways are listed chronologically). Posts are added several times a day and posts are listed in a grid format. MUU figures ranged from 6835 to 3543 between 2013 and 2014.
In terms of PR opportunities, Zoe states: "I am happy to work with brands and services that are relevant to my blog and my readers, and love to hear from brands about new products! Please read the following if you are interested in working with me: I will accept samples and products to review on my blog, but reserve the right not to post a review if I feel that the product is not relevant to my blog. In addition, I do not guarantee that your products will always have a positive review, as I will always write my honest opinion. I will, however, attempt to contact you if I experience an unusual problem with the product before posting any negative comments; for example if something arrives damaged or is not in working condition." Zoe can be reached via email at zoe@mamageek.co.uk.

GGood Housekeeping
Good Housekeeping is published by Hearst and written for the contemporary homemaker. Articles focus on food, nutrition, fashion, beauty, relationships, home decorating, health, child care, and other consumer and social issues. Each issue delivers a unique mix of inspirational and personal stories, trusted information, and closely researched investigations and reports. Also there are tips for getting organized, and recipes for quick, healthy meals. While they don't designate a part of the magazine for green coverage they do take environmental considerations into account throughout each issue, so pitch accordingly. When sending green products be sure that they save readers time and money. Pitch recycling topics and remember that value and quality are most important to readers. Avoid sending too many luxury items as they rarely, if ever, cover luxury goods or services. When pitching products always be mindful of the staffs' deadlines. They typically work three to four months in advance. Be sure to include price, availability and other pertinent shopping details.
