Background and Format:
Nail Your Novel is a literary blog set up by Roz Morris, a novelist, consultant and creative writing teacher. The blog follows on from her series of instructional books of the same name, and provides practical tips for aspiring writers. Blog posts a range of themes and ideas as jumping off points for providing tips, advice and exercises to aspiring writers. Roz also draws on her experience as a Ghost Writer to demonstrate different approached to writing. Recent posts include a discussion on how music and lyrics can influence writing, which has given rise to a regular feature called the undercover soundtrack; other posts feature tips for writing useful drafts at speed, opportunities for translators, and a discussion of equality in publishing.
