Paperhouse is the blog of Sarah Ditum, a Freelance Journalist contributing regularly to The New Statesmen, as well as The Guardian and The Spectator. The blog collates reviews, essays and features from these sources.
The blog is written solely by Sarah, drawing on her experience as a Freelance Journalist.
Blog posts are divided into Opinions, Features & Essays, and Reviews. The latter focus on contemporary literature, whilst the former encompass political commentary, Feminist issues, cinema news and cultural criticism. Related Human Interest pieces are also featured, such as the story of Niamh McKevitt, the only girl in England playing football in the boys' leagues. Each post provides a link to the main article from which it was derived, and the blog also links to Sarah's weekly podcast, presented with her husband.
