    Background and Format: BBC Radio 2 aims to provide specialist music, documentaries, comedy, short story competitions to a national audience, available on 88-91 FM in the UK, DAB digital radio, online or via interactive TV. Programme Maker/Production Company: The core output is produced by BBC Radio 2 producers and is broadcast from Western House. Some content is produced by a small group of independent companies. Target Audience: The remit of Radio 2 is to be a distinctive, mixed music and speech service, targeted at a broad audience, appealing to all age groups over 35.
