The Surrey Comet has undergone a re-launch with the introduction of a new masthead and new content. The Kingston Life section has been revamped and content includes the regular Unsung Heroes feature and a regular column from TV personality Angellica Bell. It also includes a regular column entitled In my View, which features a different person each week and was kick-started by Cabinet Minister Edward Davey. Along with this, the newspaper has revamped several regular features such as the heritage page, Vintage Kingston, which was previously called Memory Lane. A refreshed education section has been introduced and includes 60 second interviews with local headteachers, as well as report cards and stories about their accomplishments.
