Code Switch is a weekly podcast hosted by NPR and covering stories about race, ethnicity and culture. Explores how these overlapping themes play out in everyday life, and how all of this is shifting. National Herald is published daily for Greek communities in New York and Massachusetts. The newspaper covers local, national and international news, business, culture and entertainment. The National Herald was founded in 1997 as a dual language newspaper for Greek Americans. Their readers want to know what is going on in the Greek American Community and Hellenic Diaspora, as well as back in Greece and Cyprus – and they want their news in the English language. Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (RFE/RL) is a private, international communications service with broadcasts to Eastern and Southeastern Europe, Russia, the Caucasus, Central Asia and the Middle East. Funded by the U.S. Congress, RFE/RL's declared mission is "to promote democratic values and institutions by disseminating factual information and ideas." The network broadcasts more than 1,000 hours per week of programming, in 27 languages, from its operations center in the Czech Republic.
