The fundamentals of working with podcasters are the same as with traditional journalists at traditional media outlets: respect their schedules; take time to watch or listen to their material to learn their interests, format of content; and only contact them if relevant.

It was founded in April 1968 by the editor Clay Felker and the graphic designer Milton Glaser, and was among the first "lifestyle magazines" meant to appeal to both male and female audiences. Geared for an audience that is generally college-educated working professionals, its readership includes both area residents and visitors interested in keeping in touch with local lifestyles. Created to report on and interpret recent events in the New York metropolitan area, it contains news about the city as well as reporting and criticism about restaurants, the arts and entertainment, shopping and services in New York. The publication is comprised of reader letters, opinions, news, features and interviews. Editorial content is broken down as follows: The Intelligencer section features New York people, places and happenings. It includes three subsections; a quick survey of the city’s most important events is included in It Happened This Week; Party Lines is a photo page; and the Competition, which challenges readers to solve New York-specific problems such as designing a new bridge or remaking an urban health club. The Features section showcases the big stories about people, politics, business, the media, food, fashion, crime, culture, real estate, medical issues, parenting, and quality of life issues. The Strategist section is dedicated to inspiring New Yorkers to live well by providing advice in the following subsections: The Best Bet, Mating, The Look Book, Storefront, Market Research, Food, The Everything Guide, Economy of One, Map, Body, Real Estate and Travel. The Culture Pages section gives the low-down on entertainment with subsections on Movies, Theater, Music, Art, Books and TV. The Agenda section at the back of each issue provides succinct listings for things to do. Subsections include Movies, Broadway & Off-Broadway, Art Museums, Galleries, Photography, Special Events, Music & Dance, Nightlife, Readings, Lectures & Panels, Restaurants, Kids and The Word. The final page is reserved for the Artifact section, highlighting current ideas, trends or interesting information reflecting city life. The full announcement can be viewed here.   Gorkana UK Consumer Alert: Tuesday 15th March 2016 BBC Radio 3 have launched Jazz Now, a Monday evening show with new presenters that launches on 4 April at 11pm. Gorkana Alert: Thursday 19 September 2013 BBC Radio 3 has announced it will be making a few changes to the station’s weekend schedule. From 28 September Matthew Sweet will be hosting a new film music programme Sound of Cinema between 4-5pm every Saturday. The show will mix recommendations and non-playlisted film scores, which will be presented by the film critic and will focus on new releases of that week. From 2 November Huey Morgan will move from Sunday afternoon to Saturday mornings at 10am-1pm, taking over from Edith Bowman whose series will come to an end. Sunday mornings will still be hosted by Cerys Matthews but her show is being extended by 1 hour, seeing the show run from 10am-1pm. The Sunday Special slot will move to 1pm. The hour long show includes one-off guest playlists and documentaries. Guy Garvey’s show will be moving from Sunday 10pm to the earlier time of 2pm. Don Letts will be moving to fill Guy’s show at 10pm and will be running through to 12am.
