Evening Times (Glasgow) - Travel
Background and Format: There is one colour page of travel news on a Thursday and two on a Saturday. Material tends to comprise stories and reviews written by staff following personal holidays and press familiarisation trips. Saturday's pages usually include a column on late getaways or last minute deals. Anything covered in the section would have to be relevant to Scotland so, for instance, a story about a holiday where you can only fly from London would not be of any interest. Time of Publication: The Evening Times is published 3 times daily. They also publish a Saturday magazine entitled Etc Distribution: City of Glasgow, Greater Glasgow area, and more widely around Strathclyde, the West Coast of Scotland and central Scotland, as far afield as Fort William, Campbeltown, Dumfries and Perth.
