HHartlepool Mail - Travel
Background and Format: The travel section is placed in the Saturday edition of the supplement "Mail2", and it usually covers at least a page. Content is for both UK and destinations abroad, and tends to focus on reviews rather than general travel news (although there is some occasionally if space will allow). No-one at the paper tends to attend trips for this section as most of the copy comes from the Press Association, although if any of the team go on holiday they may write a piece on their return. Travel coverage is accepted but covered 'sporadically'. Other Information: The Travel section on the website is a link to Holiday website WOW TRAVEL. No generic email, Gavin Foster is the best contact.
