Parade of Quartets - WJBF-TV
Parade of Quartets is a local television program serving the Augusta, GA area, broadcast from WJBF-TV. The program is a musical showcase for the family, focused on the African-American community. According to the show's Web site, the Reverend Jesse Jackson appeared live before announcing his candidacy for president of the United States. The program debuted in November 1951. According to the show's Web site, "the program is thought to be the longest continuous running gospel program in the United States." Parade of Quartets is geared toward Augusta-area adult viewers, interested in religious musical performances. There are no specific deadlines or lead times for the program.
