About

Bio

A Diary of Injustice in Scotland is an investigative journalism blog, looking into illegal practices in the law profession in Scotland. It was launched in 2006. The team is headed by Peter Cherbi, a Journalist, Writer and Commentator on law, justice and political issues. The team states: "Independent Law journalists report the news and views from clients, consumers, the legal community, consumer groups, campaigns for regulatory reform and the individual's right of access to justice, access to representation in court and access to legal services in Scotland's Justice system, along with in-depth investigations, news of court cases of special or consumer interest, analysis and commentaries on law, justice and related topics." The style of the blog is to name suspected illegal practitioners in the areas of law and justice. Categories on the Blog include: Civil Justice, Consumer Protection, Crime, Criminal Records, Crooked Lawyer and Crown Office. Posts tend to take the form of long-form news pieces with commentary added, and often many related links and resources. There are no regular PR opportunities other than relevant news pieces or possible damage control, but the team can be contacted via email.
