"I created Newcastle Family Life back in March 2014 as a way to record my pregnancy with baby number three and it has now grown from a personal online diary into a family lifestyle blog. This blog now not only covers our family life but also days out, travel, recipes, reviews, giveaways, restaurant reviews and snippets of what family life is like with a teen and two under 5s."PR Opportunities:PR opportunities are available in the form of brand campaigns, sponsored posts, social media campaigns, reviews and collaborations with attractions, hotels and businesses in the North East. Lindsay says: "We also often get sent products to review or we are asked to attend events, review hotels, attractions or restaurants free of charge in exchange for a review on this blog. All posts that fall within these categories will be clearly marked as such." Her disclosure policy can be found here. She can best be reached by the email address: newcastlefamilylife@gmail.com

    Good Housekeeping

Good Housekeeping is published by Hearst and written for the contemporary homemaker. Articles focus on food, nutrition, fashion, beauty, relationships, home decorating, health, child care, and other consumer and social issues. Each issue delivers a unique mix of inspirational and personal stories, trusted information, and closely researched investigations and reports. Also there are tips for getting organized, and recipes for quick, healthy meals. While they don't designate a part of the magazine for green coverage they do take environmental considerations into account throughout each issue, so pitch accordingly. When sending green products be sure that they save readers time and money. Pitch recycling topics and remember that value and quality are most important to readers. Avoid sending too many luxury items as they rarely, if ever, cover luxury goods or services. When pitching products always be mindful of the staffs' deadlines. They typically work three to four months in advance. Be sure to include price, availability and other pertinent shopping details.
