The Drum (UK)
Background and Format: The Drum is a fortnightly marketing business magazine and news-led website covering the advertising/design/digital media sectors. The magazine is specifically aimed at the media, marketing and design community outside of London where they are served by the London-based media and marketing titles. The English and Scottish editions of The Drum merged into one publication on August 2008. The magazine is aimed at top level management and key decision makers. When sending press to the publication, the deadline falls on the last Wednesday of the month prior to publication, the title is then published a week later. The website that accompanies the publication has a monthly unique user figure of 1 million (source: publisher).
