Background and Format: BBC Radio Bristol is the BBC's local radio station for the West, featuring news, views, local life, travel and sport. It is available on 94.9, 104.6 & 103.6FM, 1548MW, DAB and on the BBCiPlayer. Broadcasting a diverse range of programmes, the key aim is to provide a primarily speech-based service of news, information and debate to the West of England. The show will be presented by Steve LeFevre and Laura Rawlings and aims to bring a fresh new sound to the mix of local journalism, traffic and travel, weather, conversation and debate around local issues that listeners know and value.
