Articles encompass home-improvement and family-oriented topics including green living, gardening, family health and parenting. Editorial highlights include sections on food and appliances, building and do-it-yourself projects, decorating, family money management, trave, healthcare and healthy lifestyle options, family car care and home/family entertainment ideas. Fresh, the new front-of-book section, highlights ideas and inspirations for in the home and in the community. It includes products that make life easier and more fun, seasonal ideas for home entertaining and timely things to do or try each month, including eco-friendly products and green living topics. Target audience for the magazine ranges from females in their 40’s who take a great deal of pride in their home. “Family” section serves as the forum for material that points at parents with teenage and up children. “Health” section covers all things wellness, medical news stories, and stories highlighting specific health issues. Avoid sending too many luxury items as they rarely, if ever, cover luxury goods or services. When pitching products always be mindful of the staffs' deadlines. They typically work three to four months in advance. Be sure to include price, availability and other pertinent shopping details.
