City University of New York Television (CUNY TV) serves the five boroughs of New York City with educational and public affairs programs; films; programs about the Broadway theatre and the arts; interview shows about education, real estate, digital entrepreneurs and pro-social not-for-profits, social and media trends, and city and national politics; and programs pertaining to the city's African-American, Latino, French, and other ethnic cultures. Many of the regular series are produced by CUNY TV in its HD studios, or co-produced with program partners. CUNY TV can be viewed on cable systems in the city on Ch. 75 (Time Warner and Cablevision), Ch. 77 (RCN Cable) and Ch. 30 (Verizon FiOS) as part of NYC TV, the city's cable television network. In addition, many of the programs can be viewed online at www.cuny.tv. The website provides a full daily schedule and program archive.
CUNY TV does not have a news department.
