The BBC World Service is the international broadcasting arm of the BBC. It is available around the world on analogue and digital shortwave platforms, internet streaming, podcasting, satellite, DAB, FM and MW relays. Lowell was its first editor. The editor-in-chief as of November 2009 is James Bennet.
