According to the station's Web site, WSB-TV is North Georgia's dominant source of local news. The station's public service campaign initiatives are focused on family issues, community outreach, public service announcements programs, and coverage of the news. The vision of WSB-TV encompasses being a leader, striving for excellence, acting upon opportunities in a dynamic environment, and being viewed as an organization known for valuing the association they have with viewers and advertisers. News airs daily, in the mornings and evenings. Video clips are accepted in Beta SP. Deadlines for sending press releases fall a day before the event. The station ONLY accepts hard news.
