Established in 1988 and targeted towards physicians, medical technologists and technicians, healthcare professionals, managed care professionals, pharmacists, health information managers, purchasers, coders, chief information officers, information systems professionals and medical transcriptionists. Focused on providing a bridge between healthcare products and the people who influence purchasing decisions. Feature articles explain and analyze the technologies, government regulations and management solutions that are reshaping the profession. Articles cover the following topics: workplace and business issues; legislative issues; new or innovative educational programs; profiles of HIM professionals using innovative techniques or creative problem-solving strategies; and equipment and technology.
