Background and Format:
Gastrointestinal Nursing aims to be essential reading for all nurses specialising in gastrointestinal care who wish to provide the best possible care for their patients. The journal covers all aspects of gastroenterology in a way that is relevant, intelligent and useful in daily practice. It focuses on all the specialties in the field, including stoma care, endoscopy, nutrition and coloproctology nursing, and examines topics such as irritable bowel syndrome, Crohn's disease, constipation, incontinence and PEG feeding. It contains clinical articles available to gastrointestinal nurses, which are written by experts and double-blind peer reviewed by leading authorities in the field. Each issue of the journal contains the latest news, expert analysis, original research and CPD articles to help nurses with their PREP requirements and to update their knowledge.
