Star Tribune is a broadsheet written for the general public in the Twin Cities. There are separate Minneapolis and St. Paul editions. Although they focus on news in their respective regions, both editions offer the same international, national, state, metro and consumer news.

Atlanta Journal-Constitution (AJC) is the leading general interest daily paper in Atlanta. The Atlanta Constitution was founded in 1868 and the Atlanta Journal was founded in 1883. The two papers combined weekend sections in 1950, but did not fully combine until 2001. The paper covers world and local news as well as sports, entertainment, weather, business and travel. In August 2009, the paper joined a national sports content-sharing alliance with several other papers across the country. The paper also offers multiple special sections, including a weekend arts section. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution is the winner of multiple Society of Newspaper Design gold medals in 1993 and eight Pulitzer Prizes.

BBC Cymru Wales is the BBC's division for broadcasting in Wales, both in Welsh and English. BBC Cymru Wales operates two TV channels (BBC One Wales, BBC Two Wales) and three radio stations (BBC Radio Wales, BBC Radio Cymru and BBC Radio Cymru 2). The division is is headquartered in Cardiff.

WLS-TV is the ABC affiliate for the Chicago market. The station is owned by the ABC Owned Television Stations subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company. WLS-TV broadcasts locally on channel 7. WLS-TV airs local news daily, mornings and evenings. Each year the station broadcasts six community parades celebrating the ethnic richness and diversity of the city.
