Background and Format: Launched in 1934, Highways is published by Hemming Group Ltd ten times a year and is aimed at transport infrastructure professionals who work in government agencies, transport departments,  local authorities, engineering consultancies and specialist and termed maintenance contractors. Covers road worker safety, training, skills & recruitment, software & IT, regional focus, ironwork & drainage, traffic signs, markings, pedestrians, lighting, vehicles & plants, road expos, materials, technology and intelligent traffic.  It also has a sister publication Smart Highways.
