Background and Format: Investors Chronicle is a weekly personal finance magazine providing facts, figures and informed comment on the corporate market. Published by FT business, it was founded in 1860 and has been affiliated with the Financial Times since 1978. Each week, its editorial team selects individual investment portfolios, with their 'Bargain Shares' value portfolio beating the market eleven times in twelve years. It also includes funds coverage, economic analysis and trading strategy ideas. The publication targets UK stock market professionals seeking advice and information about potential investment portfolios. When sending press the editorial deadline is around 3pm every Wednesdays, the title is the published every Friday. The magazine is supported by several other products which include: the website www.investorschronicle.co.uk, a free IC Daily e-letter, and a Chronic Investor Blog.The team ask that when sending press releases, they should be sent directly to the Editor. Gorkana Alert: Tuesday 12th January 2010 Consumer finance weekly Investors Chronicle is celebrating its 150th anniversary by revamping its logo, in print and online at www.investorschronicle.co.uk. The logo now incorporates the numbers 1, 5 and 0 in the title (1nve5t0rs Chronicle) with the strapline “150 years of trusted advice and tips”. The title hopes to generate new subscriptions by offering more varied content, including a new weekly property section and repositioned funds section. A full year of editorial initiatives are planned to commemorate the 150th anniversary.
